David has placed this concept at the centre of all his campaigns over the last 10 years. He has managed to achieve success at local and national levels namely the practical use of existing civic heritage in the modern day alongside his ongoing crusade to see beautiful Victorian and Edwardian streetscapes become mainstream once more.
Climate Crisis
David has been an ardent advocate of practical action and solutions that can combat the Climate Crisis benefitting humankind and the planet without damaging the economy nor making everyday life unnecessarily challenging.
Improved Infrastructure
David regularly highlights and presses the need for key specific location improvements to improve everyday life for residents and businesses. This has so far enabled certain crucial consultations to take place, extensions to be granted allowing for additional participant contribution and the installation of important facilities covering a broad selection of themes encountered in everyday life.
Conservation Area Regeneration
David presses for the proactive optimisation and stewardship of the public realm, in particular those sites concerning Conservation Zones and the encompassing streetscapes imbued with historic buildings and street furniture. He has attained scores of successes at local and national level ranging from the enlargement of Conservation Areas to the protection of Non-designated heritage Assets to name but a few examples.
