Oaopus Healthcare Group hopes to cre­ate a multi-million pound development of up to 120 extra care apartments and associ­ated facilities including a bistro, residents’ lounge, library and hair and beauty salon at the former Birkdale School for Hearing Impaired Children on Lancaster Road.
