Educated at Merchant Taylors’ in Crosby and then Liverpool University and the University of Central England where David achieved a degree in Pharmacology and International Business Management respectively. He went on to gain an NVQ5 in Residential Management. He takes a keen interest in civic heritage and the issues and concerns affecting the lives of residents in Southport and Sefton.

David wholeheartedly supports the regeneration of Southport Town Centre and beyond and has successfully campaigned for more power and support for shopkeepers and customers alike. He is actively involved as an Area Ambassador writing for InYourArea part of Reach PLC and his enthusiasm and commitment in all he undertakes is clearly evident.

Facing up to the challenges of the local economy and the need for change is a key focus that he is prepared and eager to undertake.
